Hello world!
We have a brand spanking new header up top showcasing a very special girl- Eleanor Li. She is one of the main characters in Megane Moe and Megan's "BFFE" if you will. Production is moving but I am sad to say, at a slower pace than I would like. Making a manga is time consuming with work, life, significant others, and other art projects! But David and I are doing our best to unveil this special manga to the rest of the world!
By now, I am sure you guys are wondering "Geez, Dave, what the heck is this comic about? It looks like a bunch of school girls." I would have to say to you, "Yesh, yesh it is." Most mangas (especially in Japan) focus a lot of their material surrounding Japanese HS life and the drama and romances which surround it. We are taking the story COMPLETELY away from that premise. The reason those mangas do so well is because people who read them relate to them because that's what they grew up around.
For an American audience, people don't necessarily relate to Japanese HS life, so we are bringing you a story about an American highschool student. We are taking moments from our life growing up in an American highschool- the fun moments, the FUNNY moments, the awkwards moments, and everything inbetween.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO Here is my point- as of this moment, we are starting a small contest: send us your "highschool" moment or story that holds that special part in your heart to us for a chance to have your "moment" cameo in our manga. You will also have a character cameo designed after you to showcase your story. Well what KIND of moments???? Send us the funny, the awkward, the time you farted during a test (lol). We would love to hear it! And you don't have to say who you are so don't worry about your privacy etc etc.

We would looooove to hear what fun stuff you have to share! We will have more details as to when this will be implemented into the story soon.

I gots a story to tell.
One time I was taking a math test, I was about to sneeze, and I ended up sneezing EXTRA LOUD...unfortunately...I farted too. The whole class heard it; they turned and thought it was the bigger kid next to me.
Win. But poor guy. :x
Okay~ heres my story.
ReplyDeleteone fine day in Precalc class I finished my test.
I passed up the sudoku sheet at the front because I hate sudoku XD so I proceded to draw on the back. I wound up drawing Princess Ai (the drawing is on my DA I'd put the link but it wont let me paste ;-;) and after the class ended the teacher asked for both our test and the puzzle.
Crap.
So, once the room had cleared I asked her "I didn't do the puzzle...but I did draw on the back...could you grade that instead?" Reluctanly, she complied.
I got a 10/10 on my sudoku sheet and I didn't even toch the front! WIN!
